How to design an impulse generator cicuit with ps rise time

Hi,
I need to design an impulse generator circuit with pulse width of the order of 100-500 picoseconds. I need voltage amplitude 2-5V. I am not that concerned about pulse repetition rate and I am fine with kHz frequency.

Step recovery diodes will give you what you need. Read HP/Agilent notes, old but still applicable.

Check IEEE papers.
I have seen some papers few years back on similar topics.

Thanks Abhishekabs. I have seen a lots of papers and suited one involve circuits with transmission lines. I was looking for something which I can just build on a bread board using lumped elements. I just glanced through agilent noted on SRD and it seemed good. I will go through it thoroughly now.

It is better to go with SRD.
The one with breadboard or lumped components will be very difficuilt to control & adjust.
also making product out of it will be time consuming
