Hairpin microstrip filter for ku band
I have to design a hairpin microstirp filter for ku band.
I don't Know how to calculate the dimensions of the filter.
Can anyone help me or tell me any reference?
Thank you so much.
If you have filter at lower frequencies just scale it and then do optimization.
You have not mentioned the specification, hence the simple answer.

Hair-pin filter is also as coupled line filters,
as ref, is better to use :
J.-S Hong and M. J. Lancaster, “Microwave Filter for RF/Microwave Application”. New York: Wiley, 2001.
check in attached some useful help,
Good luck

Thank you so much to all of you.
Only one more question. I need to design a very compact filter in ku band. The return losses must be better than 15 dB (between 11GHz-12.75 GHz) and the rejection must be better than 25 db (between 14-14,5GHz). I have choosen the hairpin structure but I am not sure that this is the best filter topology.
Can you give me your opinion about this topic?
Thank you.
I think is better to start with coupled line and then with hair pin filter....
I don't know if hairpin is the best option, but definitely it will work getting the specification you mentioned.
