Zigbee Network (with Xbee)

I have some Xbee modules Series 2 ( XBee® & XBee-PRO® DigiMesh 2.4 RF Modules - Digi International) I succeeded in configuration and communication between 2 modules (both Transparent mode and API mode). Now I want to setup a Zigbee network which includes coordinator, router and end devices. But I have some troubles. I don't understand some parametters for a device which want to join a network. They are SC (scan channel,ZS (stack profile). Can any one help me?
