Hello all,
I am looking for a photo diode that can produce around 500 mV. How can we calculate the output voltage for the following photo diodes.
I know that Responsivity = Voutput / (E * A)
E = incident irradiance
A = active area
http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/311218.pdf
Thanks in advance

Iam using this approach to calculate maximum output voltage by the photo cell is it correct?
Igen = R * E * A;
Voc = (K*T/q )*(ln(Igen/Id -1))
R = responsivity
E = irradiance of sunlight 1321 Watt/sq m
A = active area
I d = dark current
K = Boltzman's constant
T = 300 K
q = electron charge
Thanks in advance.

The provided link tells on responsivity i.e. nA per Lux.
If you are interested i ndesired voltage for the given Lux, just calculate the resistor value to be placed in shunt.
Vout = Igen*R shunt
