LTCC firing cycle problem

I am using LTCC for RF circuit making, now the problem is when i fire my substrate single or double layer it shrinks very unevenly resulting in a wavy outcome, it goes fine when i use three or more layers, Now some time even single layer substrate came out fine, Can you please advice me what is going wrong with my process.
I am using Dupont 943PX 254um thick green tape with standard Dupont firing cycle.

are you drying it out beforehand?
do you need to build a lamination press?
how did everything go? i would like to setup my own ltcc process also.
