Hi -
I have following structure: Differential LNA, feeding both, differential Mixer I and differential Mixer Q, mixing the RF input frequency with LO down to DC. Thus getting OutIP, OutIN, OutQP, OutQN.
Before I want to add I and Q, they should be squared.
Speaking: mixing the OutIP, OutIN with OutIP and OutIN (same true for Q) and add I and Q afterwards.
What is the best circuit to square the voltage at DC ? Also Gilbert? !? Or is there a nicer way to do that?
Thx, Tom

Why do you want to square the individual baseband I and Q outputs?
