Is it possible to have a very short pulse semiconductor laser?

I am looking for a pulse diode laser in blue to green wavelength range. The pulse duration is expected to be in the range of tens to hundreds of nanometer. I don't care too much about the pulse interval though. Low output power is fine. I think semiconductor laser is CW inherently. Is it possible to have such a short pulse?
10 to 100 (nanoseconds, I presume) isn't too fast for pulse lasers. But green and blue pulse lasers are mostly diode pumped NdYAG lasers, as far as I'm aware of. Low output power and 50-100 ns may be possibly achieved with LEDs, if you don't need a coherent light source.
Thanks. I think LED may work as well. But do you know where to find them? I contact a manufacturer but they only have a LED of 2000Hz modulation rate with 50% duty cycle.
Sounds unlikely to me. I remember that many standard LEDs (e.g. blue 470 nm) have been able to achieve at least 100 ns FDHM pulses.
