How does CST Microwave Studio work?

Can anyone tell me or give me any link or book/journal's name where I will find the details on how CST Microwave Studio works. I know that it solves the Maxwell Eqn but I want to know detail about it.

Use CST project examples (in instalation folder) and tutorial (F1 for help). There are 4 solvers optimized for different situations.

The "original" solver in CST Microwave Studio is based on Finite Integration Technique.
