Photonic crystal LASERs
toward analyzing a Photonic crystal LASER, I should fisrt analyse its FIELD distribution and presence of PBG, using some methods such as FDTD, FITD or softwares.
1-How can I use CST to analyze such geomtry : a disk with cylindrical air holes in triangular lattice
2-How can we get the Transmission curve vs. Lambda(wavelength) in CST MWS?
3-afterwards, how can I get I-V characteristics? LASER threshold and so on?

Is it calculating Transmission vs. Freq &/or Wavelength directly?

you can down load it from optiwave .com but this software is very expensive around 60.000S usd if you find way of download it plz tell me thanks

You can request for evaluation version of OPTIFDTD. But you have to provide non conventional email ID.
