How to make Spiral Inductor in ADS
It is nice to see spiral inductor as a component in new versions of ADS. Now I have some issues with this.
1. I want to make my own spiral inductor but not able to make its inner 'metal 2' contact.
2. How to make membrane spirals using ADS.
3. Can I define my own spiral shape in ADS Layout ? If yes then How ?
4. I started with assymetric spiral but not successful.
5. Can we belive on momentum based RF simulations in case of spiral inductor as there should be electromagnetic analysis included in the net result ?
Please reply as soon as possible.

Go to ADS Momentum -->substrate-->Create/modify --> layout layers to define your layer and for interconect use via. to view your 3d work choose visualization but I can't remember where it is in ads momentum :) .
EM analysis gives you more accurate results and is preferred to do your simulation in momentum.
In a ADS sample directory, there was a sample PDK but I don't remember where it was..
By using this PDK it was possible to draw some pcell spiral inductors and other structures..
It's as easy as drawing a spiral inductor in Autocad. You just have to draw your structure and then go to Momentum --> Component--> Create and then you can use this model in the schematic window.
RF simulation is not as accurate as Momentum. use momentum
Design spiral inductor by using followings.

Then import layout as ADS Layout via GDSII.
