TX-2B, RX-2B block diagram explanation?

i have use the ic pair TX-2B AND RX-2B, for my remote control.
i have to explain each and every thing in this IC.
some body please help me in understanding the block diagram and the functions. if i want to built this IC my self than what things i need, and what is the schematic. so that i can explain it in good way.
