i designed a microstrip oscillator with a frequency of 9 GHz.
it was simulated using Ansoft Designer.
A linear model (S2P) was used to represent the transistor, instead of a nonlinear model.
However after I implemented my design in a RT Duroid 5880 board, my circuit oscillated at 10.74 GHz.
What could be the reason of this change in frequency of oscillation?
Thank you :)

There might be many reasons depending on your topology that you have used ..
One possible of them may be the difference between small signal model and nonlinear model at that frequency.
Second can be process variations if you have used MMIC or RFIC or similar..
Component specifications are given for nominal or typical values, but it's hard to control these specifications for MW component, that's why Microwave circuits should have trimming feature..
.....
As I have said before, there maight be many many reasons.. You should find these problems by yourself because we can not help you from here without investigation the problem..
