Doubling 26Mhz clock to make a 52MHz Clock

Hi,

It's difficult to find a 52Mhz TCXO with 0.5ppm. But, I heart that a 52 MHz clock will be generated by doubling a 26 MHz TCXO. Could anyone advice on that?

Thanks!

I would ac couple into a mini circuits AMK-2-13+ doubler, followed by a 52 MHz bandpass and then an amplifier. If you need a digital signal, I would square it up with a high speed cmos gate.

All the TCXO's that I've seen have huge second harmonic. Sometimes even 3dBc !
see the example below:

So, perhaps is enough to place at the output a High Pass filter (or few Band Pass LC cells) and you get a 52MHz signal.

Do not forget to add cmos gate if you are interested to use it in digital signaling. For analog you can directly use vfone method.
