Wireless Transreciever Module query.!!

Hi all,
I have certain query regarding the Wireless transreceiver modules(Shanghai Sunbow Technology Co., Ltd)...
So is it possible for 2 Modules of the same kind for eg 2 x STR-30 Modules can communicate with each other unlike the normal RF modules consisting of a Transmitter and Receiver Module?
I have gone through their datasheet, there is one line that says
"Note: SRWF-10221 means the model is SRWF-1022, & it can communicate with SRWF-1021"
If anyone have used these modules before...Please help clearing it to me...
