Hi all
I am currently using AD8015 as my photodiode. the datasheet says it has Max Input current about ?350 uA".
I have a VCSEL which can generate 2 mW optical power, and my photodiode has a photo sensitivity about 0.5, this means the current through TIA should be 1 mA.
Could this already burn my TIA?
by the way, in the absolute maximum ratings, it says maximum input current is 10 mA.

You won't damage the amplifier as it can withstand 10mA. The amplifier will saturated though at around 350uA.
