can i have some good literature on working on cpw fed patch antenna about
1) how to have vswr<2 for large banwidths e.g. 3-10.6 UWB
2) how to increase gain of this antenna which parameter must be varied
3)port of cpw antenna as when
4) importance of cpw in this antenna in detail

Cpw fed antenna is used for UWB , omni directional radiation and easy integration with monolithic microwave integrated circuits.

you can refer to various CPW FED UWB Antennas. there are many research papers for that, here are some of the research papers you can look into
1) A COMPACT CPW-FED UWB SLOT ANTENNA WITH CROSS TUNING STUB from J. William and R. Nakkeeran.
2) A Compact Slot UWB Antenna with CPW-fed from I-Tseng Tang*(1), Ding-Bing Lin(2), Geng-Hong Liou(3), Jui-Hong Horng(3), Chi-Min Li(4).
Gain depends upon the area of the antenna, if you increase the patch area, gain will increase but the increase should be in accordance with the frequency of operation.
you need Coplanar ports, the port should have 2 grounds on the same layer, you can refer to the picture of a Antenna designed in ADS
