Hello everyone,
I am new to ADS and I encountered a problem.
I wish to simulate Variable attenuator using PIN diodes.
when I place the PIN diode and Trans Simulation and runned simulation
The software gave me an error in the simulation window:
" "NLPIN1" is an instance of an undefined model "NLPINM1" "
My question is, How do I define this model so I will able to run the simulation?
Is there any way to link the model file to the component I placed at the schematics?
Regards,
Eric

Hi,
I am also trying to build a variable attenuator with PIN diode. I also want to use NLPINM1 in ADS but unable to do so. Your post is almost 6 years old that's why I am thinking maybe you have already solved your problem and can help me to.
Regards
YOu should be able to do that from simulation setup. You need to include the model library file which contains this device model.
@atripathi... Can you tell me what I can do to use this MA-com Pin diode (http://www.macomtech.com/datasheets/MA4FCP200.pdf) in ADS?
Does MA4FCP200 work at X band frequency?
