Battery tapping / multiple voltages from battery banks

Hello,
My issue has to do with obtaining multiple voltages from a battery bank. I have twenty four 3.6V battery cells that I want to wire to get about 43 volts, 36 volts and 12 volts. I know that just tapping off at the desired voltage is not the best way to do this due to unequal loading and discharge rate. I was hoping someone could inform me on the best way to do this, and if there are wiring diagrams or schematics that show things like this?
Thank you.

Hi,
one way could be to multiplex the batteries to share the load in time.
Another way is to connect all in series (or parallel, or combined) and use a DC/DC switcher to generate the desired voltages.
