Hello everybodo
I designed an aperture coupled microstrip patch antenna !
I made 50 ohm microstrip line feeder, after optimizating the patch diemension and the aperture size, my structure resonate at the desirable frequency.
My question is how to make sure that my antenna have 50 ohm impedance using HFSS!and if ti 's not, how to match it to 50ohm? Tanks

If the S11 as seen by the port is low, the antenna is well-matched to the feed line.
S11 is low , about how much please ? (S11<-15 db for example)?
Yes, usually -10 dB is the typical industrial standard.

Tanks for your response. Have you please an idea about how to find Z0 (real and imaginary part) of the aperture coupled antenna using HFSS.
