Dear all,
I am new to oscillators and trying to understand it by studying from the Razavi text book. While studying cross coupled LC oscillators, i came across this current waveform which saturates i.e. one of the branches in the cross coupled oscillator at a time but voltage doesn't saturate. It looks like a nice sine waveform. Any intuitive explanation for this would help.
TIA

It's normal as it should be.. While the Current swings between peak-to-peak +- Ibias, The voltage waveform will be sinusoidal due to natural ringing of the tank circuit.
Imagine, circuit "feeds" the Tank Circuit in every cycle and assemble with natural response of a tank circuit excited by pulse.
