help me (increase the bandwith microstrip patch antenna)

hi. i'm working on design a microstrip patch antenna with xfdtd.i have to resize patch due to increasing bandwith then i should rotate it's patch.(I SOULD LOCATE THE POSITION OF patch AND SIZ OF IT TO INCREASE BANDWIDTH)
anyone that have examples or files in this case or same project about it , send to me please

hi,

we can increase bandwidth by,

1.Making slots on Microstrip Patch or

2.By Adding Parasitic radiator

also you can increase thikness substrate and decrease constant dielectric .

1. increase the width of the antenna by a factor of 1.5*L (L=resonance length).

2.increase the height of the patch from the ground .

3. you can change your printed patch to a printed dipole that usually have a B.W of

25-30%.

hi.how can i add parasitic radiator to antenna? is it a thin layer? what is it ?may you explain it?

By placing another patch over the radiator patch (in the form of stacking)at a

distance say approx 0.08 lamda from the radiator patch.
