I need to calculate the cut-off wavelengths of a ridge waveguide versus ridge width and/or height, I draw the shape and parameterize the ridge size and run a Eigenmode + Optimetric Analysis. But I get nothing!
How can I do it? Do I need Eigenmode? Does Eigenmode calculates "just cavities"?
Do I need another software?
Help please!

HFSS is ok,i think..
i calculated waveguide in CST and waveguide cutoff frqs in matlab.they agreed well with eath other.
it's suggested that HFSS is better than CST.
if calculating cut-off frqs only ,modes calculate is ok.
I didnt wanna know which simulator is OK! I wanted to know how!
anyway I figured it out! A very thin CAVITY represents WG in TM mode!
