Need Help here....
I am simulating a very short dipole(overall length 9 nm) with operating freq of 650 THz in HFSS v11. Solution type is driven modal and i assigned a lumped port of 50 ohm port impedance.
The error i got was " Port refinement, process hf3d error: Failed to solve the problem due to lack of precision. The likely cause is that the frequency is too low" :)
When i simulate the same file in HFSS v10 i dont get this error.... what could be the problem?

Is there a frequency limitation for HFSS 11 ?
In the menue, you can select the "3D Modeler" and then click the "Units", change the units to "cm" or more larger, try it!
I have had this problem with a waveport when simulating CPW and Stripline. I don't know about a lumped port, but here are some things that have worked for me to eliminate the error:
1) Make the waveport wider
2) Change the radiation box so that it touches the two waveports on both sides of the structure.
