helix drawing

I'm getting quite annoyed since I cannot perform this "simple" task:
I'd like to design a simple, but effective, helix in HFSS.
Not the polygonal helix, but a ribbon helix, I mean with no thickness, but a defined width, parametrized in number of turns and pitch.

Quoting from the F1 helpfile, I draw a (X=10mm,Y=10mm) disk.
Then, I'm able to select "Draw Helix".
So, I define the vector "to sweep the object along".
The origin is (X=0,Y=0,Z=0) and the endpoint is (dX=1mm,dY=1mm,dZ=10mm).
Then after, the dialog box appeared, allowing me checking the turning direction, pitch and number of turn. No radius change needed.
I validate and...

So, I asked myself: "does the initial 2D objects is important ?"
I tried with a square... same problem.
Tried too, with a 3D object but of course, "Draw Helix" is not effective.

Am I wrong ?
If yes, would you please tell me where's my mistake ?

And please, if you could tell me how defining the width of the helix, that would be great !
Thanks in advance

Regards

Ok, I solved this problem !
Just figure out the 2D or 1D shape you start with is the the section profile, the first point you enter is the rotation axe, and with the second it makes a direction vector of your spiral.

Hope this helps
