Full Name: Transfer Matrix Method Code for Photonic Crystals

Description (10 lines) of the functionality of the tool.
Will compute the transmission and reflection coefficients of complex photonic crystals
including metals and user defined structures. Code comes with several predefined systems
ranging from 1D Bragg stacks, 2D square and triangular lattices to 3D woodpile and opal
structures. Code is based on the transfer matrix method as distributed by Imperial College.

here is a thesis by one of Pendry's (author of TMM) students , A. Ward
"Transfer Matrices, Photonic Bands and Related Quantities"

it's a good tutorial about TMM both in cartesian and general coordinates

This is the translight software .Maybe it will be helpful to you !

There is a file 'lattices.txt' metioned in the manual. But I cannot find it anywhere. Could you post it if you have it?

I have not seen any software in Linux (for Photonic crystal) but the software from MIT.
