About E and H symmetry planes in HFSS and COMSOL

I'm currently using both HFSS and COMSOL on a RF problem with rectangular waveguides (and trying to bench these codes).

I'm a bit puzzled by the results given, so I'm wondering : when you split a (input) port by a H-plane, should you divide the port power by 2 also ?
