Actually, I am trying to simulate the following setup:
.Air (Open) - Coil1 - Various Biological Substrates - Coil2 - Brain (Open).
Basically, the second coil is supposed to be on the top of the brain,
that is the last substrate. Doing in this way, the substrate
computation does not converge anymore over 5 GHz, due to the high
thickness of the substrates and the high dielectric constant.
How to help it to converge ? I cannot modify the substrates thickness
or their dielectric constant: these data are given.
Giving an enormous thickness for the brain and a GND plane on the
bottom, seems to be a situation quite similar to the previous one, with
the brain set as open; anyway, substrate precomputation converge but
the results are really different from the previous ones; moreover, they are influenced by the distance of the ground plane also when it is very far away.
Do you know how to manage it ?
