Permanent magnets simulation
1. How define magnet's magnetization (like through thickness)?
2. How graphically represent the magnetic field generated by structure?
I hope someone can help me.
I don't have the maxwell right in my hand right now, but i do remember you can change the magnetization direction in your magnet properties, i.e.. in X,Y or Z directions. Polarization can be used by postive or negative values.
"Plot field" function in Maxwell should work for your second question. It should be the same as HFSS.
Hope it helps.

Thanks Lee for your advices. I'll try soon as possible.

Hi guys, I tried, but we didn't. So I thought I'd take a step back and do a 2D simulation of a cross section of my structure. The results are the ones I wanted. This is a image that describes the situation simulated. Now, I'd like to do something like this, but in 3D. Ansoft Maxwell 3D seems be suitable for my purposes, I tried to follow the Lee's advices, but I need some more suggestions. I hope someone can help me.
So guys, I've solved all problems, except one: who know how to use the "3D rectangular plot" in Maxwell's reports? I need to represent the magnetic field's intensity in a 3D graph. Thanks for any advices.
