Freeware tool for 2D electro- magnetic simulation

Hi,
Does any one know some freeware tool to do 2D electromagnatic simulation? I had used Maxwell before, but I think they are not providing their evalulation version of software.

This tools seems to be for Lynex operating system, do you have some recomendatino to use with Windows 7?

sonnet lite, but the fee version has some severe structure size restrictions

I use the Windows version.

Sonnet Lite is a planar 3D solver, not a 2D cross section solver.
