analog multiplexer designing and ic detail

i am designing EEG multichannel recorder.so for multichannel selection i need analog multiplexer ic which should allow the eeg signal which is in μv. kindly give me the circuit and also IC detail for this operation.

I'm not sure you can find a multiplexer that will work that well at such low levels (but I could be wrong, again). You need to consider noise and distortion, and I don't think they spec noise for muxes. I would amplify the signal first, and then apply it to a mux.

I don't specifically see a problem with passing small signals through multiplexers, but I may be wrong. However, safety requirements may require it to have a low risk of a component failure putting a voltage on the leads. In that case, reed relays may be required.
