ADS file open problem

Hi,
I am trying to open ADS2011 project (new way is to save in workspace) in ADS2009 (old way is to work with project).
It looks this way is not backward compatible and I am not able to open a project from 2011 to 2009 but the reverse is OK.
Can someone share his experience?

ADS 2011 projects (workspaces) can not be converted to the old format.
