Question about RCS superposition

时间:03-30 整理:3721RD 点击:
Dear All,

Please i am asking about a concept which i do not know if it is exists or not

i am solving a problem of electromagnetic scattering from dielectric coated conducting cylinder using mom and the dielectric has epsr>1 and mior>1 and i can not get a proper RCS numerically

first i need any available solution about that matter

second i am asking if i can get the rcs by superposition or in other meaning can i get rcs due to the electric polarization current and add it to the rcs due to the magnetic polarization current ?

thanks in advance
Ahmed

Is your cylinder infinite long? Also in your MoM are you using EFIE, MFIE or CFIE? Which current (J or M) depends on what type of formulation.

my cylinder is infinite long (2D) and has circular cross section.
I am using EFIE to solve TM polarization.
here i have Jp electric polarization current (because epsr>1) and Mp magnetic polarization current (because mior>1)
and Jc surface conduction current on the inner cylinder
I want to get these currents by any equation solved by MOM to get the RCS
Thanks for help

I don't think you can get any code directly from internet. Since EFIE 2D cylinder solution is probably the first oriented class for any graduate students on Computational Electromagnetics. Unless they want to share with you, otherwise, write on your own, its not that pain for 2D cases.

Once you get the solution, RCS is just a formula with J and M. following Peterson's book (http://www.amazon.com/Computational-.../dp/0780311221)
