I am trying to impedance match a 5-element dipole array in HFSS using the Active Z re and im values, but I am not getting good S11 with it. How do you achieve good impedance matching of array elements?
Please help all you HFSS experts out there.

I am not an HFSS expert, but in general when I need to impedance match to a device, I find the input impedance into the port by determining the Z-Parameters (via the generated S-Parameters). I believe you then want the port impedance to be Z11*.
I think for array elements there are few tricks to match impedance like reactive loading and active element impedance. I think HFSS calculates active impedance and that is the value I should use for the input port impedance, but I am not getting good results. Maybe I am not using Active impedance value correctly.
I have been stuck on this issue for quite some time now....and would really appreciate expert advice.
Thanks.
