Feed-line width and length- microstrip patch
Could anyone give the formula to calculate the feed width and length of an inset fed microstrip patch antenna?
The design is being done using HFSS software.
Solution freq. is 2.4GHz
Substrate- FR4 Epoxy

With reference to the fig, I need the value of W and the feed length
For ur antenna, I calculated the parameters with Ansoft designer. Hope the figure helps..
Secondly u can download alot of IEEE papers for formulas and google Microwave books on this subject.

And u have directly given the values as calculated by Ansoft HFSS ADK.
But I need the formulae/rule to theoretically calculate it.
