how to calculate negative permitivity and permeability ?

dear planar metamaterials,
how can i calculate negative permitivity and permeability for my design ? i have design a dng material but i don't know how to confirm it by getting negative permitivity and permeability ?

please help me out how to calculate these negative permitivity and permeability for the designed structure. i am using cst mws.

I'm not very familiar with metamaterial.But if your permitivity and permeability is frequncy dependent or negative or there isn't in CST library,you have to define it.
go to CST library and add your material very simple.
