ADS EM simulation: where should I place ports?

Hi,

I am new on ADS EM simulation. I am confused about where should I place ports? For example, for a CMOS amplifier, I would put ports at input, output, all the drains, sources, and gates. Am I right?

How about resistors and capacitors then? should I put ports around them also?

PORTS are only for INPUTS and OUTPUTS.

But for EM simulation, besides ports on input and output, shouldn't I put multiple ports to separate out the circuit?

What do you mean by "separate out the circuit"? What does the manual say?
