How to define Wave port HFSS?

How to turn the arroww in the wave port what does it mean the orientation of the arrow (define line in the wave port)?
and where to place it (in the middle of the face or in the extremity...?)

Hi pixela89,

The integration line of a waveport defines the (desired) direction of the electric field for a given mode -- so draw based on your best guess of whatever mode you're looking for.

For a default setup, you don't need an integration line. The waveport will simply choose its own modes.
