iam Ms student iam trying to simulate photonic crystal structure can any one advice me which software is good HFSS or translight software

i need som examples please

i don;t know nothing about HFSS but the translight is a big mystery for me :) now i'm trying to understand how this thing works :)

I think lumerical software is very good one for simulating such strucures and it has good examples for this

use MEEP ,its free and is written specifically for photonic crystals

So at long last, what the soft did u take ;)
