Dear All,
I would like to excite the wire using current source in HFSS... the wire is cylinrical and its radius is 1 mm... length is 25 cm... my opearing frequency is 900mhz - 2000 mhz... In picture you can see the excitation...
Also my HFSS design in atached file..
simulaion starts, nevertheless there is no progress for a long time...
If you could explain at least about whether or not the desing is true, I will be glad...
kind regards...
Harun
As seen in Pic-2, there is a network analyzer and the network analyzer is used to excite a single wire... the wire has a adapter at its each both end-sides... and terminato... How to design the system I dont know... I have realized that here is a wire whose radius and length are 1 mm and 25 cm, respectively... and I excited it using current source...
If you have any idea about the exciation of single wire, I will be glad...
thank you very much for your interest, in advance...

In this study, I want to realize Single-wire transmission line or Goubau line... So, I try to excite the line by using current source... Actually I dont know how to design single wire transmission line (goubau line)...
Here, is what I want to make a simulaion...
