Hello,
I'm a new user of FEKO Suite5.1.
I'm designing a conical horn. For my purpose, I need to feed it with TE11 mode.
Propagation along z-axis.

X-axis oriented on your left
Y-axis oriented in your direction
I put the Port points Port_S1 at the center of the lower cylinder.
I put Port_S2 on the X-axis at the distance of the radius of the cylinder.
I put Port_S3 along the Z-axis.
In the EditFEKO file, I use a AW card, to configure a TE11 excitation mode.
I want to get the far-field pattern (FF card).
When I see the result, I can see that the E-Plane pattern seems to be the H-Plane pattern. So I have a rotation of phi=90°, compared to what I expected.
Note that I get the patterns through .xls file.
Do I have to orientate the TE11 mode in an other way ?
Do someone have the same problem ?
Is it a real problem ? :)
Thanks for the answer(s)
