Job Overview
Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) is a world leader in 3G and 4G modem technology and our modem DSP firmware team is actively seeking new members. These positions involve the development of DSP firmware in assembly on proprietary DSP platforms for a variety of wireless modem products. Successful candidates will participate in the design, implementation, integration, and verification of fixed-point DSP firmware, and contribute to the architectural design of current and next generation wireless modem technologies. You will work in a small, tightly-knit team and engage with other engineering disciplines to deliver high-performance and high-quality products to the wireless marketplace. Candidates are primarily responsible for the implementation of communication algorithms in assembly language on DSP. You will also work closely with Communication System Engineers and Modem ASIC Designers to implement, optimize and influence the current and long term design of our modems.
Minimum Qualifications
o Strong background in communication theory and digital signal processing (DSP) -Strong assembly and embedded C programming skill on DSP platform
o Embedded firmware software debugging skills, including log analysis, crash debugging on real time operation system
Qualifications
General competencies:

- Good team-work for cooperation and communication
- Passionate, Accountability, Ability of learning, Open mind
- Able to work effectively under pressure
Educational Requirements
Required: Bachelor's, Communication & Signal processing, Computer Science or equivalent experience Preferred: Master's, signal processing, communication engineering or equivalent.
