1. FPGA Engineer Intern
o Job Description: This is an entry level, FPGA design oriented system engineer position. The engineer will be part of the vertical system engineering team composed with hardware engineering, software engineering, firmware engineering, FPGA design engineering, signal integrity engineering, and others. The IC products to work with include Ethernet PHY/Switch, high speed SerDes based PHYs, and so on. System engineering team is responsible for many post silicon engineering efforts like product validation, emulation tests, platform development, collateral development, technical support and so on.
o Job Responsibilities:
o FPGA design for tool development.
o Schematic design on emulation system.
o Porting RTL design into emulation system.
o Emulation tests using the FPGA board.
o Debug and improve the products.
o Job Requirement:
o Must have solid knowledge and skill with logic design.
o Must have good knowledge with basic electronic circuit design and data communication theories/systems.
o Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment.
o Must be able to quickly absorb different kinds of knowledge and apply them in the works.
o Working experience on board level hardware design, logic/FPGA design, or software development are preferred.
o Familiarity with Ethernet and network protocols are some pluses.
2. Design Engineer Intern
Position Details
Candidates will be involved in the whole ASIC design flow from RTL coding through P&R support, which includes logic design, DFT planning and implementation, logic synthesis, power optimization, static timing analysis and sign-off. Candidates will also work closely with analog design teams on IP integration, with P&R engineers on chip floor planning and timing optimization, and with product/test engineers on ATE tests.
Job Description - Duties & Responsibilities:
o Participate in SOHO switch development, such as
o RTL implementation base on design specification;
o Setup and maintain frontend flow, e.g. Lint, CDC, LEC and Synthesis;
o Co-work with verification/validation team on design failure;
o Co-work with backend team on timing closures and P&R;
o Design document writing and maintain.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
o Enrolled in the master's degree course related to ASIC development
o Experience with digital design, running EDA tools of simulation and running frontend flow
o Good communication skills and willing to learn
3. Internship, System Hardware
Descriptions:
This is a postgraduate Signal integrity oriented hardware internship. In this position, you will be responsible for high speed digital PCB layout, schematic design and EMC analysis of next generation high speed network chip in Datacom department.
Requirements
o Postgraduate student candidates with research areas relevant to job requirements.
o Experience with schematic capture (i.e. OrCAD) and PCB layout tools (i.e. Allegro).
o Knowledge of Signal integrity and EM simulation tool
o Major related to Electromagnetic wave is desired.
o Be able to work more than 4 days in a week is desired.
o Hands-on experience in Lab measurement with TDR, VNA, Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyzer.
o A team player with good oral and written communication skills, ability to work in cross-functional team.
o Self-motivated. Desire to take challenges.
4. Software Development Intern
Job Description:
This is an entry level, software engineering oriented system engineer position. The engineer will be part of the vertical system engineering team composed with hardware engineering, software engineering, firmware engineering, FPGA design engineering, signal integrity engineering, and others. The IC products to work with include Ethernet PHY/Switch/SoC, high speed SerDes based PHYs, and so on. System engineering team is responsible for many post silicon engineering efforts like product validation, platform development, collateral development, technical support and so on.
Job Responsibilities:
o Test Automation Software Development.
o GUI Tool Software Development.
o Driver Software Development.
o Manufacturing Software Development.
o Department/Enterprise Software Tool Development.
Qualification：
o BS/MS in EE/CE/CS.
o Can work 2~5 days/week.
o Must have good C/C++ program skill.
o Must be familiar with MS Window system.
o Must have good knowledge with computer system and data network system.
o Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast pace, team oriented working environment.
o Must be able to quickly absorb different kinds of knowledge and apply them in the works.
o Working experience on software development are preferred.
o Familiarity with MS .net, Ethernet and network protocols are some pluses.
