Senior Network Engineer - Shanghai office
Summary
Member of a senior team of technical experts in a variety of fields that support the enterprise.
Must be self-motivated and driven technically to deliver superior solutions, service and support whenever and where ever needed. Excellent communication and negotiation skills mandatory with a strong determination to resolve issues at every technical level.
Job Description
o Act as technical escalation point for complex network technology issues.
o Offer technical advice, mentoring and assistance to junior team members.
o Problem resolution/fix.
o Network technology implementations and support.
o Act as project lead for small and large scale network projects world-wide.
o Support two Data Centers globally and all remote offices.
Background Requirements include 10+ years networking experience as described:
o CCIE or equivalent experience
o Cisco switching and routing
o Firewalls/VPN (Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper).
o WAN (MPLS, Leased line, Frame Relay, Optimization)
o LAN (gigE, 10G, 40G, etherchannel, teaming, fault tolerance)
o Experience working closely with and negotiating with ISPs, Telephony carriers, vendors, resellers world-wide
o Wireless
o Fiber Channel
o SAN/NAS storage [iSCSI, FCoE, Fiber Channel]
o Unified Communication (VoIP, POTS, QoS, video conferencing, voicemail, etc.)
o BS/MS CS or similar
o Strong oral and written English language skills
o 24x7, customer focused type role
o Eligibility to work in Shanghai without restrictions
