What is EMI/EMC? How about the prospect?
Do EMI/EMC deal with more with computational electromagnetics?
Or they are more like RF/microwave circuit design, in which practical project experience is important?
It seems that this field small. How about the future prospect?
Further, can anyone suggest some EMI/EMC research groups in U.S. universities?
I'm quite curious about this field.
Thankyou!
EMC is much more than circuit design - the general subject of EMC is correct operation of different electronic systems together, which is based on per-system radiation and susceptibility levels.
Related to research labs please review web-site of Missouri University of Science and Technology, Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory - one of leadest labs in the EMC society. BTW, at web site you will find a lot of information and links to related fields.
