Hello,
I am relatively new to ansoft. I can model a monopole in free space, but as soon as I put it within a dielectric I get reflection of the radiation condition. I used PML on each of the boundaries, but still do not get a isotopic pattern, does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?
My pattern has most of the gain toward the corners of the box.

If you added the dielectric after making the PML, this might be the problem.
Delete the PML-bc and the PML-Boxes from the design. Then set new PML-bc.
Or make a new model and assign the PML as the last step of drawing.
