How to transmit a string through xbee

Hi friends,
I am succeed to transmite a single char through my xbee module. But when i come to transmit a string, its not transmitting correctly. i dont know whether the problem is at the transmitting side or receiving side?

I am transmitting through one xbee module and receiving through another xbee module. what would be the problem?

now i am tryin to use ADC of xbee.

my application of xbee module is i need to read some no of sensor reading and transmit to my MCU. i am using rabbit 4000 processor.

so to use ADC, what should i do?

my MCU is 8 bit. can i use API for this? should i use API? or directly can i interface my sensor output to the analog pins?
if i need AT commends, what are the commends?
then pls give me a need flow.
