I want to match RainSun chip antenna GPS5503 impedance.
Antenna is place in test board of 1.6mm thick Fr4 Substrate.Test board dimensions are as per datasheet expect substrate which is of 0.8mm thick Fr4 Substrate.
Attached here is the test board photgraph.
First I've placed 0 Ohm resistor in series and the impedance is 6-j32 and then i've tried to match this with 50 ohms as per ansoft designer SV with shunt capacitance 5.5pF and series inductance 4.87 nH but what i get was 6.5+j23.
Kindly suggest me how to proceed further in this regard.

can you upload your design?
Attached here is Impedance matching design file in ansoft designer SV.
May I know the frequency of operation?
It is must in designing the matching circuit.

working freq is the GPS band (see http://www.lierda.com/upload/editor/...1167353620.pdf for some details).

did you calibrate your VNA on test board feed point?

Hi
Is the 6-j32 measured at the connector or have you deembedded the 50 ohm line up to the matching components?
Thanks guys for your response.
It had been completed by iterating L and C.

johnson
Will you please share the iterative values with us?
- CST script - command do not get registered in the history
- Regenerative receiver based on my franklin oscillator
- What is the difference between s-parameter and regular frequency response?
- Replacing regenerative detector in circuit
- Reflexing my regen, help needed
- Regenerative detector acts as a filter too?
