surface wave and surface current

i am confused about these two terms which is surface wave and sufcace current. please help me to understand differance or similarity between the two

Surface current is due to conductor on a surface or physical boundary by the potential difference.

Surface wave is the wave propagation in a medium where there is no need of conductor let say vacuum and any dielectric substrate.

Surface wave can also be a guide wave with only one boundary condition; i.e. a single wire transmission line:
