Power Amp
I have a problem with a design of a power amplifier in 2.4Ghz.He found that I have to use the S-parameters great signal, they are taken off the curves VI transistor, my problem is to choose a model for moving from curve VI-S parameters of great signal and can not get the models someone knows anything about this?
Thx
Hello wakuhuaco,
If I understood your query correctly then you looks have problems in PA design using Vendor device S-parameter file right?
In order to design Power Amplifier (PA), you need to have nonlinear model (Spice)
of the device so that you can get IV curves, DC Bias analysis & spectrum plots...
If you have only S-parameter file (*.s2p) then it is difficult to design PA design and
you can do linear analysis only with s parameters...
Go through this for details on PA analysis

ah ok thx manjunatha_hv.
Then I have to ask the manufacturer of the device model nonlinear transistor
Thx :)
Hi Manju,
The tutorial by AWR is excellent. Well, do you know about any power amplifier modules in the market capable of operating in 400-450MHz with an output power of 20W. We came across a device from Sirenza, but we are struggling hard to linearise it for our application (TETRA).

Vishnu.
Hello Vishnu,
I found Centellax products may be good or fits your application...
These are very broadband amplifiers...

Hello wakuhuaco,
The Nonlinear device manufacturers are
Avago,
PolyFet,
Eudyna,
Freescale,
Mitsubishi,
Metlics,
Excelics,
Infineaon,
NEC,
NXP, etc...
Also Modelithics provides good Nonlinear models for MWO
