Hello,
I'm doing a layout. From the data sheet, the current density limit of MET is 4mA/um, without saying AC or DC. Is it for DC or max. AC current?
If for AC, the width should be twice.
Thanks

I guess it can be DC or AC but its peak limit.
that means per um it can handle only 4 mA, excess of this the MET may de-ellectolize/ burn
You mean, It's the peak AC current.
Since the AC current are large, I should have 200um width MET. But if I just consider the DC, I need only 100um. It's a trial design of power amplifier.
So I choose 200um. I don't know if 200um width is a large value.
Thanks!
